500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Koelsh Days 2010)
Nut brown, tiny head. Dry nutty aroma. Feels papery in the mouth. Retronasals papery too, as it the taste. Lip-smackingly dry. It’s kinda tasty in some ways, but the cardboardiness is too much.

500 ml bottle. Dark golden body with a nice off-white head. Nice aroma of grain and malt plus biscuit. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, relatively bitter with a faint hint of metal in the finish, not unpleasant. Well balanced body, tasty and quaffable.

muffel (111) - Lower Saxony, GERMANY - APR 12, 2010
Bottle 500ml. Pours a dark brown/copper color with medium white head that leaves some lacing. Taste is a bit malty, but also with notes of hops, some caramel and hints of honey. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. I found this particularly difficult to define because it’s not really like a typical Alt as it reminded me a bit of a Bitter. Don’t think I ever had anything comparable. Quite good beer and I like the bottle :)
