roasted malts and floral noble hops with a soft but effervescent body. balanced but malt forward. a nice session beer that falls between a maibock and a marzen, and greatly compliments german food.

Amazing beer with truly unique qualities. Caramel flavor, with floral and honey aromas. One of my all time favorites.

4.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles.
Aroma: moderately hoppy.
Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, sparkling, orange body.
Taste: light to moderately bitter, initial flavor and lightly bitter finish with average duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and soft to lively carbonation.
Overall: one of my favorite beers. It’s thirst-quenching, has enough hops to keep it interesting, but is also not overly bitter.

Great beer with a bitter taste.
Really one of my favorites.
The red appearance and the foam makes it nice to look at.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Awesome toasted nut and malt aroma. Amber color. Medium body, even though I thought alt beers were light bodied. Solid malt body and surprising bitter balance. Could easily pass for a west coast amber ale.

Reddish brown body with a really thick cream colored head. Great lacing. Smell is roasted malt, nuts, and copper. Taste is different than other dunkelweizens I’ve had. Very nice bitterness that has notes of roasted malt, butter, and maybe walnuts/pecans. Medium carbonation. Full bodied. Top notch in my book. Smooth and fun to drink!
