Cask at Cloisters Edinburgh ... amber ... thin bubbly head... grassy dry hop nose ... dry bitter fruit hop ... bitterness builds.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 2/12/08. Deep gold in colour with a frothy, white head. Tropical fruit and elderflower aroma. Flavour began with some sweet malts, before citrus hops and apricot fruit took over, leading to a decent dry finish. Good stuff.

cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold to amber with white head. Bright, light hoppy beer, fresh and tasty, packing a bigger hop note than expected. Grassy with hints of Kiwi fruit and peach. Really quite pleasant.

Cloudy golden with a lasting small white head. Peach and apricotaroma with some grass too. Dry and hoppy, bitter and fruity notes.

Comments: Aromatic, well-hopped ale that can’t keep up the goodness in mouth.

Cask, Flowerpot, Derby. Golden with no head. Aromas are zesty lemon sherbert with some sourness and bitter grapefruit. Flavours are citrus with grapefruit. Zesty and quite bitter. A decent quaffer.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruits, nectar, wood and slight hints of vanilla. Flavour is wood, sourness, some nice hops. Wellbalanced, bitter and quite dry.

Cask@Flower Pot, Derby. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is light and the flavour is lightly dry and floral. Overall an average lightly dry beer.

Gravity Cask @ Soton Beer Festival 07. A hint of tasty toffee goes well with citrussy hops and pine. Bitterness fades quickly. Drinkable but leaves you wanting a little more, shoukl be good for a session.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 1. Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 28/07/2005 Golden coloured and hoppy with some floral aroma. Crisp slightly bitter dry finish. 2. Cask Handpump from the Outside Bar at Ye Olde Vic, Stockport 14/07/2007 Very hoppy and fruity aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity grapefruit flavour. Crisp and bitter lasting finish.
