Nice aroma coffee and chocolate, Black as coal with cappuccino head. Tastes nice with a medium finish but not long on finish or very robust. All in all a good stout if your not looking for a meal in a glass.

Black in color with a creamy khaki head. The nose is heavy on the roasted malt and coffee. There’s a touch of toasted bread, some cocoa, and maybe a little bit of ash. The flavor is a bit on the watery side. A fair amount of roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate, though. Not as rich and creamy as most oatmeal stouts. A bit of ash and soy sauce.

Pours a black colour with medium size head. aroma is roasted malts and coffee. flavour is a little light but has oats and roasted characteristics overall a good oatmeal stout which doesn’t have a overy strong alc.

Solid black with a good sized beige head that leaves behind a nice lacing. Aroma is mushroom, wet straw, grain. Creamy mouthfeel, good body, very well balanced, smooth finish. Taste is smoke, licorice, soy sauce, oatmeal. A very enjoyable beer.

Black pour with a large beige head, left chunks of lacing as I drank. Aroma is slightly acidic and roasty, with coffee roastiness coming through. Tastes quite nice, with a smooth chocolate roastiness. Not much char present. The oats make an appearance and more of a light acidicness. Has a moderate feel to it, and no alcohol heat. Very easy drinking as stouts go.

I Love this beer. So I buy it as often as possible. Great pour with a nice cappuccino head that lingers and folds in on itself. Great great mouthfeel. Very nice carbonation. Roasted malts. My favorite Oatmeal stout to date. Love how its one of 3 styles of this category that the brewery puts out.

Uhhhhh... when don’t I want to drink a litre of oatmeal stout??? Every time I fill the glass tonight I will do at least 6 push ups. Found a ruby red tinge up to a light. Big bubbly light brown skull. The aroma is kind of weak. Oatmeally chocolatey toasted nose with vanilla tagging on with the choco. The taste is pretty good with nothing too strong unless you give the roast the strong nod. Good malty flavour with a wonderful soft bitterness, faint fruit I think, a bit nutty with a smaller faint vanilla note. A bit drying, good smooth roasted malts on the finish. A pretty quick review but nothing changed from the early third of the bottle. Very easy drinking, no where near as interesting as I was hoping. This is a highly drinkable, simple brew consumable in mass quantities. I did a grand total of zero push ups. Popcorn is ready!

There really is a wide spectrum going on in this beer, not like I expected. Definitive coffee aroma, sweet and toasty malts and a musky yeast. Pretty thick head on the pout, nice and dark, flavours as they smell except you get a little smoothed out mellowness in the middle to end of it, oh yes, that’s right this is an ’oatmeal’ stout. Just where it should be in the flavour. Just a touch thin on the ending, could’ve used more hops... heh, I know that is a cliche on this site but the % and the thickness of the beer deserve just a bit ’stouter’ of a sendoff. Nicely done.

1L brown flip top. Pours deep brown-near black with deep red tints. Big 3 finger light brown head with a creamy texture, lots of lace. Nose has roast malts, some coffee, a bit of sweetness. Taste is of medium roast coffee and roasted malt, chocolate, a bit of caramel, nice hop notes add some bitterness on top of the roast. Medium bodied, average carbonation, some creaminess. Pretty solid stout, good session brew. 1L seems to be an ideal serving size for this particular brew.
