Black, Dense brown head. Smells a lot like milk chocolate, with notes of coffee and ash (in a good way). Taste is lightly coffee-ish, some chocolate, and bit of red wine. Pretty enjoyable.

Pours dark in the glass. Large tan head and lacing. Malt with yeast and coffee on the nose. Chocolate and coffee on the tongue. A little light/thin for my taste but overall a good brew.

Pours a very dark black with a decent sized tan head that settles pretty quickly. Aroma is rich roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, earthy and lightly sweet. Flavour is rich maltiness, roasted malts, cocoa, mild licorice, a touch earthy, a mild bitterness sweet thing going on and a nice velvety smooth mouth feel.

A traditional sweet oatmeal stout with distinct maltiness from the barley. Rich in flavor and mouthfeel, but missing the big head associated with many oatmeal stouts.

Standard brown pour with a lighter brown head. Overly roasty, dry, cocoa nibs, ashy. Not my favorite.

On tap in Vancouver, Canada. Aroma is vanilla, soft chocolate, subtle toffee and milky caramel. Appears black with a thin tan foam and decent lace. Taste is thick dark chocolate, toffee bar, milk chocolate, nutty almond, cocoa flakes, strong roast and sticky caramel. Overall, I thought this was actually really nice. Good stuff from Canada.

Black pour with huge fluffy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, earthy, leather. Taste of roasted malts, hint of chocolate, touch of coffee and a nice oatmeal backbone. Medium carbonation, a touch thin but overall a very good high quality brew, much enjoyed!

Big dark and smooth. Good roast but not bitter. 1 liter resealable bottle a plus for this home brewer.
