Cloudy yellow pour with small off white head. Aroma of wheat, strong passionfruit and mango dominating. Taste of wheat, slightly sweet but no noticeable fruit flavours coming through. Very thin mouthfeel and light bodied. Expecting much more after the awesome aroma.

fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2012
Draught at Barney’s on Main St., Vancouver
Muddy deep blond color. Aroma almost missing. Watered down wheat ale, with very low wheat character, hints of bread, dust; very light sourness; light fruity touch; low bitterness.
Chaotic execution and very simple characteristics at the same time; for the easy drinker.

1L swingtop bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that retains well and leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is dominated by the raspberries with other light fruits present and some mild cereal grains. Taste is tart with the raspberries and a little sweetness from the malt and other fruits and a mild hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. This is a darn good fruit beer, not too sweet, not too sour, just the way that I like.

Bottle shared with Jeff and others. Hazy golden, nice white head that shows decent retention. Aroma is lovely genuine fruit, lots of passionfruit (which makes me think of when we lived in Australia, which makes me happy), raspberries too. The palate is more tame, in a good way, allowing the nice wheat and yeast to come through without any artificial or sugary fakeness to the fruit that is present in essence. Light but tasty, and very balanced. I was impressed, as I had expected this to drink like a glassful of Jolly Rancher candies. I am glad to be wrong!
