Not bad. Pours a sunny yellow with fizzy head. Aromas are some mango and pineapple. Not much there. Flavors are slightly better. Sourness.. From the pineapple probably. Mango too. Decent.

Pours a murky orange/pink with very little head. Fruity peach aroma. Flavors of apricot, peach, and orange with dry malt and cereal tones. Fruit is not overpowering not artificial tasting. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy, tan. Aroma has a lot. The mango and passion fruit seem to come out the most, clean and fresh. Palate is malty, lots of pale malt, the fruits are subdued, it’s a touch yeasty. Still light and refreshing, if you’re drinking this after hiking up the Chief, as you’re supposed to be.

Visual: Bottled in their recappable 1L bailer-top bottle. Pours hazy pale orange with a smallish okay-lasting head, a thin layer of retention, lots and lots of activity. Nose: light barnyard, sour+tartness, passion fruit (lvl-4)-pungency. Attack: incoming sourness+tartness Mid-palate: (lvl-3)-sweetness, (MAIN) wheat malts, raspberry, mango, passion-fruit, hints of pomegranate Finish: light tartness, crisp airy off-dry wheat malt finish. Summary: All fruits are basically there, but none are very pronounced or distinct. Mainly wheaty with a generic tropical fruity backdrop. Not a whole lot of depth or carry, but drinkable. Nice touch with the 4.4% ABV.

Jaune brumeux avec une mousse moyenne blanche. L’arôme du levure, blé et fruits. Le goût est d’abord du blé, puis du levure avec une finition des fruits. Légèrement sucré avec une finale sec.

(4oz glass) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2013. Cloudy orange body with no head. Nose of tart berries and cleaning agents. Flavour is nicely sour. Okay but could use Brett or more profile yeast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden orange with a very small white head and no lace. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, tropical fruits, mango and kiwi. Basically all the fruits that aren’t in here but wonderful Aroma, bath and body would be proud. Taste is wheat, kiwi, mango, tropical fruits. Nice beer but a bit thin, would be pretty easy drinking bit doesn’t hold much weight after the aroma.

Bahumat (86) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 11, 2013
Fruity, complex aroma, providing notes of all the fruits that the actual beer fails to deliver. Appearance is a very bright, intense yellow, thin lacing, no head. Taste is very straightforward hefeweizen/ale. Pleasant, sweet start with a mild citrus at the front of the tongue, quickly transitioning to a lingering minerality on the mid and backrange. Palate is smooth on the front, but fizzy and stinging on the tongue and palate afterwards. Finish is light citrus and very mildly bitter. Overall: There’s nothing notably bad about the beer, but there’s nothing that delivers on the promise of the label either. Lacks presence and won’t be remembered a day later.

From 1l bottle. A fantastic beer for a hot summer day. Clean finish, minimal aftertaste. Distinct fruit flavors on mango and passion fruit.
