Draught at Barney’s on Main St., Vancouver
Muddy deep blond color. Aroma almost missing. Watered down wheat ale, with very low wheat character, hints of bread, dust; very light sourness; light fruity touch; low bitterness.
Chaotic execution and very simple characteristics at the same time; for the easy drinker.

Cloudy, tan. Aroma has a lot. The mango and passion fruit seem to come out the most, clean and fresh. Palate is malty, lots of pale malt, the fruits are subdued, it’s a touch yeasty. Still light and refreshing, if you’re drinking this after hiking up the Chief, as you’re supposed to be.

On tap at National 17th Street. Count on Howe Sound to make a decent fruit beer. A tart experience, impeding drinkability into a sipper. Interesting.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of mixed unripe fruits, wheat and some floral hops. Flavour of unripe berries, mangos, some slight sourness, mild natural sweetness from the fruits, English malt and a lingering hoppy bitterness that becomes more apparent the more you drink. Nice lingering bitterness. Sort of a like fruity, wheaty IPA. Quite nice.
