Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours clear golden with a decent off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a light pale malt flavor with a subtle addition of honey sweetness. A nice session beer.

Golden with a huge foamy head that leaves a lot of lacing. I suspect it’s just this keg though. Sweetness of honey, very light on hops, decent malt. It’s not a bad beer, but its pretty plain.

Palate / Taste: medium light bodied. Clean , refreshing ,easy going. Frontal sweet with slight citric hop to it. No major faults noted. Proper good golden ale. Great for summer days.

1 litre swing-top bottle poured pale golden color with small white head and spots of lacing. Aromas are mild grains and a hint of honey. Taste is lightly sweet with a faint hint of hop bitterness. Good carbonation provides adequate mouthfeel. This is just another average pale ale.

Single bottle purchased from Co-op Liqour Store on 05/27/2011 in Calgary, AB. Colour: Mostly yellow with just a dash of orange and medium spoty white head. Nose: Extremely soft but with character. Was able to detect young malt, touch of industrial honey, and a hint of peach. Taste: Light sweet, light sour, light bitter. Again - very soft. Light fruit basket from start to finish - a spot of sourdough mid to late. Creamy mouth feel. Why so mild here?

1L bottle, split with mcberko, pours pale golden orange. Aroma of stale malts, light honey and not much else. Flavour is watered down, weak, unexciting... generic pale ale with a slight touch of honey. Not good.

Had a sampler glass at the brewery. Aroma: vanilla, hops. Appearance: clear yellow, lots of carbonation, no head. Palate: smooth, slightly bitter finish, small body. Taste: nuttier than expected, but quite sweet.

1L Flip-top bottle. Pours a pale leyyow with a moderate white head, lots of carbonation. Aroma: Sweet, floral. Tates: malty, notes of hay, caramel, vanilla. Some hop bitterness, herb-like. Finishes grassy. Pretty good; a good ’gateway beer’ to craft beer.
