Draught at the brewpub
Deep blond color. At first it shows some nice hop aroma, but it disappears quickly, the some very light honey aroma. It’s a simple Ale, with smoothened corners, a bit sweet.

Bright golden colour. Slightly honeyish aroma with hints of wonderbready pale malt. Light pale with hints of toasty malt but mainly bread and slight honey, which is mostly in the light, sweet finish.

’1L fliptop from Bottles and Bins in Monterey, CA. Pours orange gold with a white head. Aroma is light hop with a touch of honey. Med minus body. Nice light drink. Finishes mildly bitter. Honey is not obnoxious.

Light golden colour, thin white head. Light malt aroma, floral and honey character as well. Body is fairly thin. Flavour is okay, light malt, faint sweetness, and a very clean finish. A good, if typical brew.

Slightly hazy bright gold, lacey white head. Sweet pale malt aroma. Lagery pale malt palate, on the sweeter end with discernable honey character. Sweet lagers just aren’t my thing really.

Honey hue is nice. Good head as many of Howe Sound’s beers have. Honey beers aren’t usually my thing, though. It’s not that this one is sweet, it’s just not interesting enough for me. A little of that diacetyl stuff is noticable in this one too.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours clear golden with a decent off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a light pale malt flavor with a subtle addition of honey sweetness. A nice session beer.

Mild butterscotch, plenty of honey, some biscuity malts and floral hop notes in the aroma. Clear, deep, golden body is topped by a fair sized white head that recedes rapidly to a lasting cover leaving some frothy lacing on the sides of the glass. Biscuity and grainy malt character with some toffee and butterscotch. Light bitterness and floral hop notes. Fruity esters emerge mostly in the aftertaste. Light medium body with sharp carbonation and rather slick and watery texture. Butterscotch becomes more apparent in especially in the nose but also in the flavour as it warms. Pint glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Brewery Creek, Dec-06).
