Bottle 1000 ml
Aroma bitter dry hop on top. Strong wheat notes at bottom. Spicy, slight peppery hints , touches of clove and earth. 7+
Appearance slight haze on amber. Medium foamy white top. Soma lace.3+
Flavor and Palate : Mild mid plus bodied. Front was quiet dry with fruity accents, slight tartness with phenolic elements. Smooth and clean with sweet walls. Smooth warmth of alcohol on top end. Very pleasant for “hefty Heffe”.

2011-09-20. Hazy golden body with a nice foamy white head. 3+ Flavour is sweetish with some banana and clove mixed with sweet yeasty esters and tart wheat around the edges. Very light alcohol. 7+ Aroma of mild alcohol, dry whaty and sweet mild yeast. 7+ Smooth medium bodied palate. 3+ Not super complex but dangerously drinkable, I think this is my favorite of theirs so far. Bottle at Volo, Toronto

Nice foggy bright orange body with modest head on top. Aroma of caramel, orange, coriander. Flavour is heavy malt and wheat mixing with an alcoholic finish. Unbalanced, but drinkable. Tasted at 5.5C/42F

1 litre swing-top bottle which poured a cloudy golden color with thick foamy white head and lots of lacing. Aromas of cloves and ginger and yeast. Taste is yeasty with some spices and a sweet maltiness and a moderately hoppy ending.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub, frehly put on. Orange wheaty aroma. Cloudy light orange coloured body with some soapy head. A little water in there so only average mouthfeel, i would want above average mouthfeel. Good drinkability. Decent taste but have had better for the style whether you consider it a hefe or a weizen.

1L brown flip top bottle. Pours out an unclear deep golden colour with a creamy white cap. Good foamy clinging lace. Nose has vanilla, lemon and clove. Flavour has wheat malt, vanilla notes, lots of clove, light lemon, background alcohol. Light hoppy finish. Aftertastes of leafy/grassy hop and alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, tight beaded carbonation. Pretty nice brew overall, big on spices and alcohol, but retains a pretty good drinkability for a mid sized brew.

Cloudy orangeish pour, medium off white head. Very nice looking pour. Aroma of nanners and wheat, some alcohol. Starts creamy, a punch of alcohol, with fruit notes, medium full body, light in carbonation. Pretty boozy stuff, but lacks the complexity of a great weizen.

sulawang (541) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2012 malted barley and white wheat; sweet banana on the nose, intense banana bread up front, mixed with light caramel and a minor bitter finish. Medium carbonation throughout and leaves the top and tip of the tongue tingly. Goes from banana sweet to medium creamy bitter. Med-high complexity, medium depth, short-medium length. Overall, well balanced but a little aggressive on the initial sweetness and bitter-hollow aftertaste.

1L bottle, split with mcberko, pours cloudy blond / orange. Aroma and flavour of banana, cloves, wheat and rich caramel malts. Very enjoyable.

Amber pour. Minimal head. Aromatic wheat beer with fruity notes. Not best in style but above average
