Bottle. Dark brown pour with a frothy tan head. Hearty roasted malt and molasses aromas. Deep dark roasted malts, black coffee, and molasses notes. Somewhat bitter from the dark malts I think, not the hops. Robust with a decent body and good mouthfeel.

Pours very dark brown, head is light tan. Aroma is mild ash and very mild fruit, roasted malt. Flavour is roasted coffee, some anise, some more fruitiness, I dig Willamette in impies. Viscosity is a bit thinner than medium for the style. Very nice, well balanced, easy to drink.

Bouteille 1L.

Dark black in color, thin tan head. Nice big imperial stout flavors. Chocolate and coffee flavors. Nice finish this was a very good beer. I like the roasted malt and watch out this is a big beer.

On, tap, Pours a pitch black color with a medium tan head tan that leaves pretty good lacing. Smells of roasted malt, chocolate, raisins, plums, and caramel. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this was an awesome imperial stout lots of different flavors which was nice.

It pours dark brown with mahogany highlights; the head is tan and foamy. The aroma has notes of: chocolate, coffee, roasted walnuts, and figs. The taste is medium bitter that finishes as such and surprisingly dry; there are notes of: coffee, toffee, chocolate, white-grapefruit, and molasses, charcoal, and a slight smokiness. The palate is medium-full bodied, has light carbonation, a slight stickiness, and a long finish. Overall, quite nice - although nothing interesting.
