Pours a slightly hazy darker brown colour with a decent tan head that’s dissolves into a spotty covering and has moderate lace. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, nutty characteristics, and toffee. Flavour is sweet toffee, chocolate, mild bitterness near the end, roasted malts and a moderately dry finish. Good beer and very session able.

Pours nice. 1 finger of light frothy oatmeal colored head. Settles to a thin lace. Translucent dark brown, slightly amber when held up to light. Moderate mocha nose. Taste is fruity molasses to start with light hazelnut to finish. Decent brown ale but not exceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A high quality nut brown, right on the mark for what I want. Chocolate aroma, mild roastiness on the palate, pretty creamy mouthfeel. Looks beautiful, too. Reminds me why I love the style.
