3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Visual: Pours translucent copper brown with a smallish dissipating head, a thin layer of retention, lots of slow steady streams.
Nose: sweet fruity citrus malts. (lvl-5)-pungency.
Attack: crisp-sweet, incoming fruity-bitter hops
Mid-palate: (lvl-6)-sweetness, (MAIN) sweet grapefruit, toffee malts, peach/apricot
Finish: malty bitter grapefruit hops, bitter peel, lingering bitter hopped finish.
Summary: A texturally smooth brew of fruity to balance the sharp bitter hops. Above average.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Super Jupiter pours a bright golden orange with a massive fiamy beige head. The head is very sticky and leaves a few big blotches of foam on the glass. The first sniff has a rather potent pine and grapefruit heavy aroma. A mild toasted caramelized malt evident in the burgeoned orange appearance and mild sweetness. A mild flavour profile in the middle with a few sweet toasted malt notes and a hint of fresh squeezed grapefruits. The finish although potent with big grapefruit flavours and hop accents is rather subdued and mild. Overall this is an interesting beer that just falls a bit short of the line.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear amber colour with a small sticky white ring around the glass That leaves moderate lace up the glass. Aroma is west coast ipa, fruity, light citrus, and faint caramel. Flavour is again west coast, puckering grapefruit, resin, fruity, med-high bitterness, caramel and overall a good malty profile. Not the best ipa in my books but dangerously-able.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear orangish copper with a sticky white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pale malts and citrus hops. Taste is a big blast of citrus hops, sweet pale malts and then a nice smooth grapefruit bitterness on the finish, not too harsh bit a good balance of malt and bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours amber, off-white lasting head. Aroma of NW hops, some caramel. Grapefruit blends in there, of course, but is definitely distinctive in the flavour, Tastes just like an added juice, really, even if it was just rind. The sour kind, too, which makes it different than just citrus hops. Grapefruit juice lasts in the finish. Balances well with the caramel. Yeah, good idea for a summer drink.

This one shines at room temperature; I’d been hesitant to think that no chilling would work, but it does. The grapefruits complement the hops extremely well and one can taste the rind mixed in with various levels of hoppiness. A good IPA with a grapefruit bite. Definitely worth a try.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
1L swing top shared with Parksy, Grippitis, and Faysal. Deep amber with a bubbly gold tinted head. More malty than I expected, in the aroma and on the palate; pleasant caramel with fruity hops that lean more toward peaches thn citrus. Bitter citrus peel finish. But nothing distinctly grapefruit in here. A nice enough session regardless.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beer 5 of 5 of whatever the hell I called this thing. Moths. I hate moths. Hazy orange with sediment, little head but at this point I already drank half of it out of the bottle in the dark in the yard. Grapefruit and caramel. Gf is not crazy which is too bad. Then again, this is very slammable. Simple design. Tasty taste on tasting device is yonder mouth. Malty beer with enough bitterness. Sharp, tart yellow tasting grapefruit, like squeezed rinds, lemon, serious bitterness. A mean bitterness. Underlying sweetness. Damn did this get bitter. Dig it. A simple beer with a wicked bite. Asleep I was.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
1L brown swingtop. Deep gold/orange pour with haze. Holds a good fat one finger’s worth of whitish head for a long while. Rings and spots of lace everywhere in the glass. Nose has citrus peels, caramel malt behind. Taste has a sweet caramel malt base that acts against grapefruity hops. Bitterness builds, finish is lengthy and grapefruity. Medium bodied, regular carbonation. Overall a solid IPA. Nice play between sweet caramel and bitter grapefruit, well done.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
1 liter bottle pours a pale amber color with is finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing as it settles. Aroma is mild grapefruit and caramel. Taste is a citrusy hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness. The flavors are well balanced and body and carbonation are adequate for the style. This is a well done IPA, too bad it is retired so soon.
