Honkin’ big one litre swing-top bottle. Slightly hazy bright coppery gold with a huge lasting fluffy off-white head. Smells great - a very appealing juicy cereal/citrus/resin moderate alcohol blend, a bit floral. Taste is a little less balanced - it’s even more bitter, but less character - and the grain really begins to dominate. Solid body and carbonation, and a sneaky-long pithy bitter finish and linger. Solid. Thank goodness for that swing-top!

1L bottle brought back by my brother.
Appearance : Slightly hazy amber with medium foamy and creamy head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Resinous and piny hops with caramel malt. Light bready notes.
Taste : Piny and citrusy with caramel. Resinous. Nice citrusy and piny notes but a bit hidden by the caramel.
Overall : A bit heavy on the caramel for my taste. A bit heavy overall. Not enough aromatics for me to match the grain bill. Still well done and enjoyable.

Poured from a slightly chilled 1L bottle into a pint glass. Biggest aroma here is caramel followed by a sweet maltiness. I sense a little bit of floral notes too. Pours to a slightly cloudy light amber colour with an ample head and nice lacing. Initially, it seems a bit watery but that went away after a few sips. This IPA has a well balanced hop/malt profile and a nice bitter finish. All in all a decent IPA, but not spectacular. I could see the being a nice session beer.

Deep amber pour with a finger of head that disappears fast. Piney aroma with lemon, orange zest, fairly light. Pine lemon and grapefruit rind up front, grassy, slight hint of oak, cracker, caramel. Medium body and slightly lower carb. Not a hop bomb but bitter enough with some other aspects to keep it interesting.

Tasty IPA, but Double or Imperial?? Copper color with a fluffy off white head. Some apricot up front, transitioning quickly to some pine-y hop flavors. Very dry finish.

Pours with thick overflowing head that is golden yellow. Beer is light brown lots of carbanation. Aroma Light flowery hop aromas First sip is creamy hops floating on sweet slightly atringent beer. The brew is smooth and nicely aged. Like a well balanced hop tea. Aftertaste is white birch bark bitter tempered with cream.

Notes: cloudy rusty amber with a reasonable pale head that leaves behind a slight lacing. Aroma is northwest hops, fresh cut grass, touch of pine and a hint of caramel, good overall floral note. Good body, reasonable balance between malt and hoppy bitterness - the hops are not an overwhelming sock in the mouth with pine and spruce, whilst still being noticeable and finishing with a crisp bitterness. Taste is quince, grapefruit, caramel, malt and pine. One of the best IIPA’s I have tried.

1 Liter Swingtop Bottle. Appearance is a cloudy burnt orange and gold color along with an inch of solid beige head. Lots of brown sugar, candied orange peel and herbal hops notes in the aroma with a bit of pine resin at the end. The taste starts out with a good deal of earthy hops bitterness and grapefruit citrus flavors that lead to a sweet, bready caramel malt middle. Toward the end there’s some toffee, pine and alcohol. The body is slick and creamy with moderate carbonation and more caramel sweetness and grapefruit rind in the finish. A little more malt-forward than most DIPAs but with enough citrus and piney bitterness to keep it relatively balanced.
