3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a slightly chilled 1L bottle into a pint glass.
Biggest aroma here is caramel followed by a sweet maltiness. I sense a little bit of floral notes too. Pours to a slightly cloudy light amber colour with an ample head and nice lacing. Initially, it seems a bit watery but that went away after a few sips. This IPA has a well balanced hop/malt profile and a nice bitter finish. All in all a decent IPA, but not spectacular. I could see the being a nice session beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Very nice, very drinkable. What I like here is the slightly sweet malt. Provides a good counterbalance to the hops and the bitterness. Recommended!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is a rich hop profile with citrus, lemon grass and a nice earthiness. Taste is a light sweet crisp maltiness with a fairly dominant hop body which comprises of grapefruit and tanin which leaves light bitterness burn on finish. Pretty well balanced overall. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber colour, dissippating head. A citrus IPA, quite bitter, verging on the paint thinner ones but not quite... I didn’t realize it was a Double when I tried it, so now that makes sense. Surprisingly little finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted at Willow Park Beer Bash 2014. Unfortunately, there was no time for detailed notes - and I only made it through half my list even so!

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Looks like a nice pint, deep amber creamy of white crown floating on top. Aroma is hidden... pint might have poured to cold. Sweet fuzzy peach candy is about all I get out of the nose....... so very mild. Flavour has a large sweetness to it, peach but not, melon but not, not honey, almost bubble gum. Lively carbonation. Very well balanced..... almost to balanced I WANT MORE HOPS DAMMIT. Drinks like a APA not a IIPA. Dusty dry finish. Whats holding this beer back. Completly drinkable boring IIPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
1litre bottle from 16th St. Liquor in West Van. Pours a clear amber with a thin head. Aroma is sharp west coast hops with little identifiable malt. Taste is all hops with very little malt to report...leaves a puckering bitterness on the tongue but not one that is very complex. It’s average, not exceptional.
