3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
1 L bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden colour with modest-sized white head. Aroma is spicy/resiny, slightly citric with caramel and even a little floral character. Flavour has a fair amount of resin, peppery spice, light citrus zest, a bit of a floral note and underlying caramel maltiness. Rather dry. Solid.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Murky golden amber with a good sized white head. Ton of floaters on the second glass (big 1L bottle).
Aromas are light citrus, grass, black pepper. Palate is thick and creamy.
Tastes are more of the citrus, with some caramel malt gliding over the tongue.
This is a pretty decent IPA out of Squamish B.C. And worth a try for hopheads.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a huge 1L bottle. Pours a pretty big frothy off white head and has a pale golden appearance. Leaves some fairly thick dirty lacing behind. Aromas of piney and citrusy hops as well as mild malty and yeasty notes. Flavours are quite hoppy, mainly citrus and pine. Malty notes abound though, it is well balanced. Has a sweet slightly sour finish. A little bit of bitterness on the palate. Smooth and silky mouthfeel. Pretty good, there’s just something a little off in the finish/aftertaste with the sweet/sourness. aka Hopraiser.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Looks like about a litre bottle. Says quart, whatever that is. Cap and a swing top. Hazy orange brown with a goodamountof sediment and a small but sticky off-white head. Nice floral/resiny aroma. Has a nice rsiny hop flavour, but the malt body is way too thin for it.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
ENORMOUS 1 L bottle from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass.
App.: Cloudy golden with a tight off-white head.
Aroma: Lots of citrus/grapefruit, resin, peppery, dusty, a bit of light caramel and Vienna/Munich support, pine, savoury/brothy, not the most friendly of IPAs.
Palate: Medium+ body, slightly relaxed carbonation.
Flav.: Quite resinous and peppery with some citrus (more pungent than the nose), lightly brothy with Vienna/Munich struggling for attention, dusty, a bit of an odd...floral? Thing; dry with fairly good bitterness and a long, peppery and resinous finish that still has a dusty/brothy edge.
I don’t want a full litre of this.
