Thought this was pretty weak. Pours a light yellow. Some spice and wheat aroma. Light wheat flavors. Not that Good.

A mild mannered brew overall. Pours a bright golden orange with a finger of pure white head. Mild spiced notes of clove and coriander blend well with crisp wheat malt. Nice balance and clean finish overall.

Pours a cloudy orangish yellow with a huge white fluffy head and lots of lace. Aroma of wheat, lemon, orange and spicy coriander not much Belgian yeast presence. Taste is lemony, wheat, spicey coriander and a dry finish. Overall just not a very good witbier a d rather disappointed by this offering.

On tap. A hazy one, pale golden-orange in color, and topped by a white head. Quite orangey aroma, suspect some of that come from the silly orange slice the waiter put on the rim of the glass. Some maltyness, a touch of caramel maybe as well. Lacking big time on the spices, at least considering the brewery says it’s a Belgian-style wheat. That goes for the flavor as well. Some pale malts, but overall rather boring. Medium body, semi-dry. Well, it slakes the thirst quite well, besides that I’m bored with this one. 130703

FNotes: pale yellow/amber with a slight haze and a good pale head. Aroma is peach, wheat, citrus, cream. Light on the palate, short finish with a nice crispness. Taste is citrus peel, wheat. Nice crisp and tangy beer that makes a good nod to the Belgian wit beers that inspired it.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewub. A little yeasty, spritzy carbonation. Lighter mouthfeel for a whit. Bitterness not bad. Hazy unfiltered look.Wheat and yeast aromas.

Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy deep blond color. Light wheat aroma. Mild wheat flavor, some malt, correct body strength and bitterness; there are some spices, but just an ordinary character; maybe some traces of fruits just in the end. Ordinary, but not bad.

Lagerboy (1189) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 9, 2011
Crisp, bright and light, nice coriander and orange aroma and flavour, a lack of Belgian influence, more like a Canadian witbier... and with only 4.5 ABV, Lagerboys will find this perfect for pounding on a hot summer aft hangin’ at The Spit!

Colour: Clouded brownish-yellow, with low head. Nose: hard-boiled eggs, vanilla frosting, ripe wheat, lemon...not orange. Taste: Sugar-laced wheat, then dashes of pepper. Moves into floral-hop fusion. Late kick of soap that lingers. Pleasent and light, but not stunning.
