Fresh from the new bottling line(Ko label yet!) ar the Tank Room. The pale ale 3,8% is a honey gold with a green peppery herbal hoppiness with some pineapple. Great light body and scratchy carbonation. Clean flavor, crackery malts and fresh hoppy goodness. Great stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask conditioned at The Cock Tavern. Citric aroma. High bitterness flavor. Only a opinion, but for me it’s a nonsense to serve an APA from the cask. I’ve missed higher carbonation or a little more malty flavor. Something that is supposed to be refreshing served too warm and lacking bubbles. Probably a good APA if served from keg.

Cask at the Cock Tavern, 30/03/13. Hazed pale golden with a thin white head that clrs to the edge and forms a film. Nose is hops, pine, tropical fruit notes, grapefruit, mango, fresh and fruity. Taste comprises much the same, bitter grapefruit, fresh juicy mango, light pine, hops, sugards. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitterness in the finish. A cracking APA!

Keg @ The Cock Tavern. I’m rating the Columbus, Citra & Centennial edition. The pour’s a medium gold color with a small head. The nose is lemon squash, sweet peach cobbler dessert, other general citrus fruits. The taste is more lemon peel. Notes of aggressive, funky unwashed armpit. Earthy green hops, light tree bark. Moderately bitter, dry finish. Light body, zippy mouthfeel. Overall, a solid pale ale.
