4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours lightly hazy gold with a soft, white foam head. Brilliant aroma, the citra really shines through, with some orange and tangering and grapefruit in particular. Light to medium sweet flavor with some tasty pale malt backbone, light dry pine needles, further orange and tangerine, some suggestions of sugary white bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good, mildly resinous finish with moderate yeast notes, orange, dry grass and pine, melon, grapefruit. Very drinkable with a great, robust citrus character; a really juicy APA. One of (if not the) the best beers I’ve had from Howling Hops.

This is why I love APA. Howling Hops know how to do it very well indeed. Cheers HH. I had a mate who had the initials HH. He was awesome, loved Harry, spent many right and wrong nights with that boy. A top boy.. Light amber pour with that classic quality pale ale flavour of some fruits that I’m not able to pick out but are totally delicious. Cheers.
