3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Musty earthy
fruity aroma with wild berry notes. Dryish-sweet earthy metallic
taste is kind of empty and strange. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy
mouthfeel. Dryish sweet earthy wild berry chocolate aftertaste
with spicy lavender and cookies notes. A weird beer. It has
some really nice, spicy aspects, but is also kind of empty and
the metallic bitterness is a bit harsh. (0.5l bottle, gift from

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear reddish amber with a rich creamy head leaving quite some lacework. Sweet caramellish aroma, walnuts. Medium body, burned caramel and subtle roast, a whiff of licorice while the sweet gale doesn’t really come through. Very smooth mouthfeel and very pleasant drinking actually. 290212
