Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours red chestnut with small, creamy, beige head. ARoma is malty sweet, good amount of fresh dark berries, some notes of red currants as well, light honey, flowery, toasted caramel and slight roasted malts. I also get a wonderful note of roasted chestnuts. Soft carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, lots of dark chocolate - almost cocoa-like. Flowery and some sweet honey notes. There are a lot of flavours in this and it somehow gels very well together. Nice one.

Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. An unclear, copper to brown beer topped by a minimal off-white head. Spiced, bready nose with dried fruits and hints of alcohol. Sweet, bready flavor with some roasted malts. A berry note also shows up. Full body. Dry, bready finish. Sort of decent, but not the beer I could drink more than a glass of. 091023
