Sampled at the Shalihai Food restaurant in Xining, a thoroughly recommended place should anyone end up in Xining. Yellow River King is a splendid name for a beer. The beer itself is quite yellow, basically a Chinese Corona, corny in construction. Has a bit more body about it than some other local beers, but even the King of Yellow Beers is still a yellow beer.
