COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is our answer to the American Standard light beer. It pours a nice golden color with a light body. With a hint of lemon it is a clean and refreshing beer that tastes great after a hard day’s work on those host summer days.

The aroma is very faintly lemon-based while the appearance is weird, with the head being as gigantic as a Belgian beer and has sediment in it unlike most pale lagers. I assume the sediment is supposed to help with the flavor of this but the actual flavor isn’t much, with a little bit of lemons and pale malt being there although in the background.

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a very pale yellow with a HUGE white soapy head, almost took up the entire pint glass, yikes, aroma is plain awful, metal mixed with corn and the odd stench of dirty feet, flavor is very sweet with grain and has a metallic finish, wow, I have not had one good experience with this brewery at all.

The actual taste wasn’t horrible, but reminds me more of an India Pale Ale than a lager... Funny how everyone else says they had little to no head on theirs when mine was almost completely head. Hopefully if I let the 6 pack (yes... I bought a 6 pack unfortunately) settle for a day or 2 it will calm down... wish me luck. Do NOT purchase this beer.

Golden color with a thin white head and a mild grainy aroma. The flavor has hints of citrus and wheat with a moderately malty mouth feel and a bitter, skunky finish.

Born in Iowa. Want to love Iowa made brews! but not a fan of this. If it was more carbonated and had alittle bit more life, I’d probably rate it in the mid-upper twos but it just lacking. Lacking life really. Only positive is a slight floral finish and that it. Also has a slight floral nose. It has the body of a strong ale...which isn’t good for this brew. Creamy and only slightly carbonated. It needs to be light and crisp, with a lacy head (the head is pretty much non existent.) I got a sampler pack so I really hope their other beers are good.

Straw gold, minimal white head. Aroma is pale malts, boiled cabbage, and corn. Flavor is pale malts, filler grains. Mild, grassy hop finish. Macro micro. A bit overly creamy.

I"m glad I purchased a sample pack too bad I have one of these left. Poured a clear yellow color with very little head. Poor aroma. Light bodied. Weird hop and odd flavor. Cannot find this beer on the Hub City web site.

Draft. Poured a clear light orange color with a thin white head. Not much in the way of aroma other than a whiff of corn. Light bodied, watery, uninspiring. Dry with pale malt and an odd flavor akin to vanilla. Not at all appealing.

Pours yellow-gold with a 1 finger, quickly receding white head. Aroma and flavor are both of stale grain, a touch of toast and... something, unpleasant, hard to put my finger on. Kind of chemical-y, maybe fusel alcohols or something. Firmly in the meh category.

You’d be crazy to buy this. Yellow pour with almost no head. Taste and aroma reminds me of a half fermented home brew. Plastic, GRAININESS, gross, and filth all over this one. Just plain bad.
