COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Huber Bock has traditionally provided a creamy texture and rich flavor to beer lovers all over Wisconsin. It has a fine, malty body like the bocks of southern Germany, but is drier than the typical bocks of Bavaria. Huber Bock is made with Brewer's Two-Row Malt, Carapils Malt, Black Malt and domestic hops.

Cheapo 330 ml bottle from B&M. ABV on the bottle stated 5.5% Poured into a Hoegarden tasting glass. malt loaf and wet garden aroma. Dark ruby with a generous beige head. Fruit cake and black treacle flavours, old prune and fig with something earthy and vegetal offering a bit of complexity. Also a slightly smoky quality. Full bodied, slick and chewy, with a long finish. I opened a second bottle after the first, and it kept my interest to the end.

12oz bottle Old notes-Pours dark ruby with a small head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and toffee. Taste of the same with some more sweetness. This medium bodied brew is not bad as I was expecting worse.

Bottle from Rhythm and Booze, Wakefield. Black beer with red hues and a small head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, chocolate and a metallic whiff. Taste is dark sticky malts, sweet caramel and a touch of alcohol, but needed more. Medium to full bodied and sticky. OK beer, a little sweet for me though.

DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2013
330ml bottle, 69p, Rhythm N’ Booze, Cleethorpes. Very dark ruby appearing black (in this light) under a fine beige collar. Nose of sticky malt loaf, Xmas pud, yeast extract, hazelnuts in dark chocolate, dried fruits. Feels stronger than its strength with a syrupy mouthfeel, discreet carbonation and richness of chocolate, malt loaf, black cherry, shrivelled grape skin and molasses. Hints of burnt wood for dessert. Bit cloying but well-constructed and not without attempts at complexity.

rauchbier (3596) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2013
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Barton upon Humber. Deep red almost black, thin but lasting off white head and gentle condition. Sweet burnt toffee and caramel dominant in the nose, sweet in the mouth initially with caramel and malt before developing a slight roast barley note, hints of liquorice and a spirity note, finish is sweet caramel and a slightly bitter roasted malt note.
