COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Huber Bock has traditionally provided a creamy texture and rich flavor to beer lovers all over Wisconsin. It has a fine, malty body like the bocks of southern Germany, but is drier than the typical bocks of Bavaria. Huber Bock is made with Brewer's Two-Row Malt, Carapils Malt, Black Malt and domestic hops.

I agree with lagerman. This is history in a glass. Huber inspired the brewers that make a lot of the other beers I drink.

Aroma of caramel malts. Dark brown more like a doppelbock than a singlebock. Head dissipate very quickly, no lacing. Taste is very sweet, mouthfeel a light lingering sweetness. Just too sweet for me for a lager. Might be a good beer to introduce to females who (in my experience) tend to prefer sweeter beverages.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with thin off white head. Nose is brown sugar. Nasty taste. Chemical. Caramel. Brown sugar. Couldn't finish it.

On tap at minus brewery. Strong old school Bock. Not a lot of Carmel but still very nice with no after taste

Bottle from Millets Farm near Abingdon. It’s brown with a light fizz and a thin beige head. There’s caramel and brown sugar throughout. It’s very sweet and the alcohol is very evident. Felt like it was dissolving my teeth. There’s no real off notes in it- but then if you ate brown sugar by the spoonful you wouldn’t get any off notes. Just too sweet for me I’m afraid.

Nose has light corn or adjunct aroma. Faint malt. Taste is caramel but lacking in melanoidin or rich malt. Tastes light amber bock with extra residual sugar. Meh.

A great local beer from Monroe for those of is who like darker brews that are easy to drink a few of in one sitting. It’s taste is light and just a tad bitter. An underrated beer in my opinion.

Bottle from...somewhere. Looks like flat cola but has a fruit cake aroma. Taste is initially sweet and syrupy but soon dissapates leaving a barely noticeable sultana finish. A bit like drinking a very watered down barley wine. Below average.

Pours dark red, almost black, with a small off-white head. Sweet, treacly aroma with slight metallic hints. Taste is treacle and berries with a slightly sour finish
