1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle at Queen of Hoxton. Short review due to session. I didnít like this lager much, though it was drinkable. Malty sweet liquorice taste. Very boring. Definitely one of the worse lagers Iíve had. I paid £5 for this!!!

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottles of this have found their way to a cut price supermarket chain in the UK: 69 Pence (about a dollar) for 330ml worth.
I poured my bottle into a íBack Forty Beer Coí glass to make it feel at home (kind of) on 9th Jan 2014.
Very pale golden/straw coloured body, clean and clear, the white head left before it arrived to leave a white collar and a little wisp on the surface.
If this is their Premium beer Iím not too sure Iíd like their regular brew. Although to be fair this isnít a bad lager, itís just a bit thin on character and flavourings. Refreshing without testing your taste buds or other senses too greatly.
The nose was semi-sweet and slightly grainy, the taste followed in that vein, being pretty sweet: where did the hops go?
Pleased it popped up in Shropshire, but Iíll not be rushing off back to the shop for any more.

Bottled. 02/01/14. A golden coloured lager with a white head. A sweetish lager. Corny notes. A bit of cream in the nose. Decent balance in the mouth with a grainy finish. A reasonable lager.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Like its Bock brother, cheapo from B&M. My bottle states 4.8% ABV. 330 ml bottle poured into my Sam Miguel glass. Bright golden yellow with a white head that left a decent lacing down the glass Cereal aroma. Itís a pale lager, so I wasnít expecting any depth or complexity and there wasnít any. A bit more malt flavour than most lager, some honey, and a hint of floral hops, but otherwise just a pleasant enough unchallenging beer that isnít going to offend anybody. Iím not getting the grainy feel other raters mention, and I hate the grainy feel! Slightly creamy palate, carbonation lively as expected. I enjoyed it enough to open a second bottle. You could spend a lot more on a lot worse.

Bottle from Dom at Gurdís bottle tasting evening. An out of kilter participant in the evenings tasting. Rather pleasant lager though and a nice grain feel.

Can at the staff xmas party. Not sure what to say here. Wasnít pleasant to drink but wasnít anything terrible at all. Just a plain old lager with a fair bit of a hop kick to it. Very bitter on the finish. Not too bad

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cheapie from B&M. Orange gold with a slender white lid. Nose Madeira cake, slight creamy malt and conifer. Slimy macro rice and oak; slight sulphur, biscuit and honey hints. Full grainy lager. Drinkable enough.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. 4.8% ABV. Thin white head with poor retention. Gold body. Aroma is red fruit, malt, hops, alcohol, corn. Bittersweet. Clean, dry finish. Rough quality, like Carlsberg Special Brew. Better than Budweiser at least.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Skunky vegetal aroma, taste dominated by corn with a bizarre saccharine finish. Not a great lager by any stretch.
