Huber beer has been brewed the same way for over a century. Huber is a clean-tasting, thirst-quenching beer, with a mild, malty aroma. It has a slightly mellow flavor, pleasant aftertaste, and is lightly hopped to do down smooth.

April 27, 2014 - bottle from Jim. Clear yellow pour with some head and limited lacing. Malt and grain in the aroma and taste. Taste had a some sweetness. Finish had a slight bitterness. Light, easy to drink, and has some flavor.

Bottle from B&M stockton. Pours golden with a rapidly disapating white head. While its not offensive there is little in the way of flavour to this beer. Refreshing and drinkable at least. Slightly biscuity with a hint of citrus.

12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a clear golden with a decent sized head. Aroma of grains, corn, and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew was not bad and pretty cool in the returnable case.

Bottle from B&M, Ipswich. Pale golden coloured beer, with a small white head. Quite sweet, malty aroma. Average carbonation. OK for a ’cheapy’.

Bottle thanks to s_hartshorne. Golden beer with short lived head. Aroma is grain and perfume. Taste is sweet corn, grain and more perfume. Some unusual flavour in there that I can’t quite fathom. Like watered down whisky. Drinkable.

Cerveza americana lager, de sabor suave que permite distinguir la cebada tanto en su aroma como sabor. De las mejores americanas. Recomendada

Bottle at Queen of Hoxton. Short review due to session. I didn’t like this lager much, though it was drinkable. Malty sweet liquorice taste. Very boring. Definitely one of the worse lagers I’ve had. I paid £5 for this!!!

BlackHaddock (5387) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2014
Bottles of this have found their way to a cut price supermarket chain in the UK: 69 Pence (about a dollar) for 330ml worth. I poured my bottle into a ’Back Forty Beer Co’ glass to make it feel at home (kind of) on 9th Jan 2014. Very pale golden/straw coloured body, clean and clear, the white head left before it arrived to leave a white collar and a little wisp on the surface. If this is their Premium beer I’m not too sure I’d like their regular brew. Although to be fair this isn’t a bad lager, it’s just a bit thin on character and flavourings. Refreshing without testing your taste buds or other senses too greatly. The nose was semi-sweet and slightly grainy, the taste followed in that vein, being pretty sweet: where did the hops go? Pleased it popped up in Shropshire, but I’ll not be rushing off back to the shop for any more.
