2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt but also somewhat skunky and oxidized. Medium body, very sweet - as in artificial sweeteners - decently malty but hardly any hops. Not totally fresh I guess but actually has more of a malty feel than your standard US Pale ALger. 210113

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - FEB 26, 2007
Pours a clear bright golden with a thin coating of wispy white head. Sweet pale malty aroma even has some light fruity notes along with a touch of Saaz hops. Body starts fairly dull, with a touch of sweetness and bitterness. Smooth, crsip finish adds to the drinkability of this otherwise, standard pale lager.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Ughsmash (6669) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2005
Draft at brewery. Poured a very pale gold with no head retention. Not very much to the aroma, but non-offensive. Some floral hops present in the flavor and a little corn. Very light-bodied. Smooth on the palate with a crisp finish. Just a bit lighter and weaker than most other pale lagers that I have tried.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Ernest (5623) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 7, 2002
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal), with a note of cooked corn/DMS. Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly bitter, lightly acidic. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Yikes.
