Draught at the Hofbrau Freising brewpub. Sold as Freising Weissbier. Thick and lasting beige head. Clowdy yellow color. Plesent banana aroma that perfectly balance the wheat maltiness. Some sweetness and a huge drinkabillity. The best wheatbeer on the Janko Beer tour 2011 (aboute 150 beer sampled).

500 mL bottle from Beers of Europe. Cloudy orange with a decent head. Palatable and smooth but unremarkable weissbier. First beer I’ve had with a polar beer on the front otherwise its nice, but its not one of the finest of its type. Still likeable however. Typical German Weissbier aroma.

Test vom 14.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,11,10,12,6,11 - 10,55

500. Ml. Bottle. Classic example of a Bavarian wheat beer. Darker yellow with a great white head. Bannana and cloves.

Cloudy straw/golden hue. Large white head that leaves plenty of lacing as it falls down into the pond below it. Smells of banana, yeast, grains. Taste is banana-ish. Not like most others in the style though. A little bready flavor. Sweet, with a sweet aftertaste. Smooth and light. Easily drinkable.

Bottle 50 cl from Getränkemarkt at Wallstrasse, München. Poured cloudy orange yellow in colour with thick white head. Spices, sweet fruits and banana in aroma. Spices and banana in flavour mostly. Well balanced with a very pleasant slightly yeast banana aftertaste.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2015 Vom Fass. It is a lighter Weissbier with a traditional Bavarian Charm, I had it in Freising and it was a memorable experience. 500ml can Pours a hazed golden, nice head that sticks, plenty of sediment. Aroma is pineapple, banana, and wax. This is just nostalgic for me having german beers fresh here in the US. Bit of orange and lemon even in the aroma. Flavor is lemony, some orange creamsicle, creamy wheat body, fruity not spicy. Good stuff.
