Bottle kindly shared by skomaker’n. Low dense sand-colored head. Bright reddish-amber body. Currants and red berries to the nose. Earthy and peppery notes, and a whiff of grainy malts. Fresh sourish-sweet malt base. Earthy and faint herbal notes. A fine berry-sweetness. Light body without being thin. Grainy, sweet berry-fruity finish. A likable one.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Holmen1 (1075) - NORWAY - APR 25, 2013
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 gunnar (3593) - Sandnes, NORWAY - APR 23, 2013
Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazed reddish, with a moderate sized white head . Aroma is malty, caramel and nutty. Taste is surprisingly full for a 4,7 % beer, still light bodied, watery mouthfeel, light dry hoppy end.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sigmund (4196) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 22, 2013
Shared bottle at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Nice aroma of brown kandij sugar, caramel and dust, a hint of mild spices. Thin mouthfeel for a "Belgian" ale. Fairly dry flavour, malts and some caramel, easy drinking but not impressive.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 KnutAlbert (5186) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 12, 2013
Bottled.
Amber beer. Red berries. Bittersweet, well balanced, dry finish. Complex, yet highly drinkable. A splendid start for a new brewery.
