Small white rim, over yellow beer. Citrussy nose, with some lemon, and also some spicy grain (fenegreek?). Finishes a bit soapy. Sweet-spicy flavour, balanced, but unremarkable. Finish gives a hophint, all the same. Very slick, finish is tad chewy, yet not well-bodied. Certainly not revolutionary, but pretty decent. Beer is supposedly brewed in the new pubbrewery in Tongeren, Au Phare. Maybe the bottled version hails from Anders still.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sited foamy head. Citrus-fruity hoppy aroma with delicately piney accents, a mildly malty and doughy touch and a spicy Belgian yeast- character. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Quite dry malty base with citric and slightly herbal and piney hops; dry and mildly bitter finish with a tinge of fruits and shy spicy notes. Likeable. 12.XI.13

0.33 l bottle at Tuulensuu, Tampere. Golden color. Sweetish honeyish aroma floral aroma with some citrusy tartness. Sweetish, floral, citrusy, peppery flavor with dry grassy and bitter finish. Restrained spiciness. Medium to full body, dry mouth coating astringency. Sharp contrast between initial sweetness and dry hoppy finish. OK but not quite in balance.

Pours hazy golden color with a huge white head. Aroma of grassy hops, mild fruits and soapy yeast. Flavor of yeast, some malts, mild fruits, toffee and grass. A bit odd for a belgian ale but decent anyway.
