2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 kiwianer (2309) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2012

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Koelschtrinker (8470) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 12, 2011

500ml bottle, Kerwa-Festbier, 5,5% ABV
Strong golden yellow color with a high, delicate, short-lived head. The beer smells sweet and grainy, very pleasant. The Kerwabier starts strong malty-grainy, slightly hoppy tones are noticeable in the background. The aftertaste shows bitter hoppy, again with sweet and grainy notes. The further course is grainy, fruity and sweet, at the finish-part, the beer gets more and more bitter-tart!

It’s orange with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, light fruit and bread. The flavour has a light sweetness and ntoes of malt, fruit, flower, bread and a light, dry bitterness. It’s very easy to drink.

Had this as Hübner Bräu Staafelder Christkindla. Bottle looks simple but good, the beer in the glass is not very zippy. Starts metallically and dry, hoppy notes, also a bit soapy. Finish a little bit spicy, but still metallically. Only average.
