Erzengel (2396) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - APR 6, 2014
Amber-golden in the glass. White head. The beer starts malty and moderate bitter. Caramel, very dry-astrigent. The aftertaste is still dry, but has hints of malty sweetness. A bit mouldy-dusty. Moderate bitter.
interesting, as it is not highly drinkable. Nut very nice for a Festbier. --> 12/12/11/12

50cl from bottle @ Moe’s Sportsbar, Bamberg. Clear golden orange colour with a small to medium sized white head. Smells slightly hoppy, slightly grassy, slightly malty. Tastes malty, slightly sweetish, some hay, a hint of iron. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

kiwianer (3317) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 28, 2012
Test vom 8.1.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,8,8,8,10,8 - 8,10

Had it as the Christkindla. Just a fresh lager beer. Mildly grainy and hoppy, very German.

Bottle. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours clear golden with a small creamy white head. Grassy and grainy nose. Vaguely metallic and grainy flavor. Some grassy and spicy hope. Medium bodied. Ends dry.

Test vom 25.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,12,9,12 - 11,70

Grima (2074) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2011
500ml bottle, Kerwa-Festbier, 5,5% ABV Strong golden yellow color with a high, delicate, short-lived head. The beer smells sweet and grainy, very pleasant. The Kerwabier starts strong malty-grainy, slightly hoppy tones are noticeable in the background. The aftertaste shows bitter hoppy, again with sweet and grainy notes. The further course is grainy, fruity and sweet, at the finish-part, the beer gets more and more bitter-tart!
