Die Farbe dieses Vollbieres ist kräftig orange-bräunlich, die Schaumkrone mittelmäßig stabil. Geschmacklich ist es am Anfang recht intensiv: hopfig etwas malzig und mit einem rauchigen Nebencharakter. Nach ein paar Schlücken wird es etwas milder als am Anfang. Der Nachgeschmack ist rauchig-hopfig. Fazit: Ordentlich und interessanter Frankenlandländer! Test vom 28.2.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,11,11,11 - 11,25

Bottle. Clear honey with a thin head. Aroma of grain and some toffee. Flavour is grain, sugary malt with a light citrus infusion in the finish. Palate is sweet

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Das Bier im Glas ist kräftig goldgelb mit hoher, prächtig feiner und cremiger Krone, die allerdings schnell zerfällt. Das Vollbier duftet hopfig-süßlich, mit zarten Fruchtnuancen. Der Antrunk erfolgt seltsam hopfig, mit einem süßlichem Beigeschmack, den ich nicht so recht beschreiben kann. Schwankt so zwischen muffig und fruchtig-vergoren. Der Abgang ist ebenfalls hopfig, mit diesem leicht muffigen Unterton. Auch bis zum Finish ändert sich nicht viel. Ich kann dieses Aroma nur schlecht einordnen, es schmeckt auch weder gut noch schlecht. Somit ist das Hübner Vollbier als gesundes Mittelmaß einzustufen.

Bottle. Nose has pale malt and (am I deceived? [yes, well, it’s there from the bottle but not the glass]) a touch of smoke, with a nice slender touch of hay. Dark golden-copper pour with a sudsy beige head. Lightish-medium body is lightly sweet and slightly less bitter, has a nice measure of acidity with light grass and more toasted grains with a mild multi-fruchtsaft-like fruitiness on the precipice. Very soft body with a touch of chalk under the citrus. Good character, really enjoyed!

Bouteille de 500 ml dégustée chez Stilbruch (Bamberg, Allemagne). Arôme: Légère odeur de caramel légèrement fruité. Apparence: La couleur est dorée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de céréales et de caramel légèrement fruité. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement fruité. (Rating #3820)

Hopfig-getreidige Geruchsaromen. Herb-frischer Antrunk. Danach ein sanft getreidiger und sehr süffiger Verlauf. Süßlich-aromatische Züge, bevor das Bier feinherb ausklingt. Gut. Vielen Dank an Frankenland. Test vom 6.9.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Würzig herber Antrunk, in dem das Malz überhaupt nicht zur Geltung kommt. Harsch, lieblos wirkend, es kann sich kein Aroma herauskristallisieren. Wenig malzig, etwas pelziger Abgang. 12/7/6/6//7

Gravity keg. Apple juice coloured with a small white head. Aroma: sweet malt, grass, some fruit. Taste: sweet malt, apples, grass. Medium full body with low carbonation.

Bottle @ Brewery. Pours clear dark golden with a small creamy white head. Grassy and very grainy nose and flavor. Bready and quite malty. Freshly hopped and overall very drinkable. 3,4 Gravity Cask @ Stillbruch, Bamberg. Very malty. Bread crustand lots of grassy and dry hopsVery balanced. Soft and smooth. Some svovl. 3,8
