Draft @ Stilbruch. Served in ceramic krug. Has tan head that lasts a long time. Aroma is crisp, dry, hoppy, leafy. Excellent palate has a great texture. The flavors are nice and toasty in the dry finish, which is moreish. Deceptively subtle, and has a nice hint of smoke.

The bottle looks not really good, a bit simple. The beer in the glass much better. Darker than exspected. Starts very mild, modest hoppy in the background, fine spicy, wheaty finish. Well balanced. Good beer!

bottle. Clear golden yellow, medium-sized head, hoppy nose. Solid malty base with some aromatic and bitter hops. Interestingly the beer has got a flavour reminding me of smoked cheese, but not in an unpleasant way.
