2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This is a clear orange amber brew with a scant white head. This is a mildly sweet lager and fairly clean aside from a slight metallic note. This isn’t a complete disaster but really nothing I’m looking forward to drinking again.

Sample at the Moerlein Lager House on 9/13/13. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Malty sweet aroma, almost corny. Malt and sweet corn flavor with slight peachiness before a crisp finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle poured an amber color aromas of grains, and some light malt. Flavors are the same, not off putting, but highly drinkable if you were going on a bender and didn’t want to drink macro swill.

16oz red solo cup, from a keg. So i’m slamming these at a house party not thinking twice, and after a bit I look down to notice this strange amber but nearing ruby color from my beer, surprised thinking i’d been slamming macro lagers all night, I discover I’m drinking "Hoody" or Hudy, limited flavor tastes like cheap beer, but has a nice looking appearance so high marks there.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
11/02/2010: Hudepohl Amber Lager... Aroma: Thin, grainy caramel maltiness; sharp edge. Appearance: Clean, transparent amber-gold color with a thin, frothy off-white head. Flavor: Grainy maltiness; quite beery; slightly sweet in the front; browned butter (maybe more like caramelized butterscotch); sharp, spicy bite in the metallic finish. Palate: Medium, crisp becoming semi-harsh. Overall: The jury’s still out on this one; I can’t quite decide if it is bad or just edgy enough to be interesting; getting through a 6-pack won’t be easy, but it’s growing on me. THIS BEER IS BEST OUT IN THE 24 FL. OZ. CAN (it tastes way better than in a bottle or on tap!).
12 fl. oz. bottle (twist-off cap) from Bigg’s Hypermarket in Harrison, Ohio. Rating #44 for this beer.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pourer out of a bottle with a good amber hue, with a slight head. The color is the best thing about this beer period. This has a bitter beer taste, with a watery finish, not a good combination.
