COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If a tree limb falls in the middle of the night and no one is awake to hear it, does it make a sound? Yes... It sounds like a chainsaw and an ice cold Hudepohl Summer Pils. It sounds delicious.

Bottle from Drjohnrock. Poured clear golden color with a medium frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium balanced flavor with a medium balanced finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

Bottle. Floral barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Corny barley malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Okay but more like a pale lager.

Rating found in notebook. 12 oz. bottle from Root Cellar. Pours a clear pale gold color with a finger of soft cream-colored head. The aroma is a bit skunky. Grass, pale and crackery malts, dead leaves, wet hay. Flavor follows the same lines, and also a bit skunked. May be a month or two past its prime. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a damp mouthfeel. Drinks like stadium beer through old tap lines.

12oz bottle, from my local Kroger. Completely clear golden color. Thin whtie head, Few bits and short ropes of lace. Medium body. Smooth, sort of crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good bready citrusy flavor. Lightly peppery. Moderate bitter. Light sweet. Solid, satisfying summer pils.

Bottle to pint. Looks solid; a transparent gold with white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells doughy and pleasantly skunky. Tastes luke it smells wi a little hop bite. Average on the palate. Not bad for what it is.

12 ounce bottle poured a light yellow color with aromas of dough, and light hops. Flavors are the same, basic beer, but better than a macro. Thanks Beau for the bottle.

Hazy, lemon gold with a short white head. Scent is grainy, herbal. Taste is malt, barley, herbal hops. Very weak, watery bitter. Rather plain..forgettable.

12oz bottle [don’t know if I got the right brewer or not, since the name of the brewery on the label is "closed" according to RB] - pours clear gold with white head. Nose is yeast and corn. Definitely has that Hudy taste (much like the Amber). Flavor adds the expected hops for the style. Light to medium bodied with a dryish finish (it sure dried my lips). Tiny bit sweet but moderately bitter. A good summer drink: light and refreshing with more character than the typical American pale lager.
