1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
3rd September 2015
Bottle share at Mr Smith’s Stratoflat. Big thanks to Dan for this country tick. Almost clear pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest carbonation. Papery thin dry malts follows the papery malts nose. Forensic trace of citrus. A metallic dry finish. Jeez this is poor, I hope the good people of Vietnam get better beers than this to drink!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. Pours a clear, light yellow with a fading white head. Aroma holds some grains and apples. Flavor has a sharpness to it but is still rather bland, some light cereal and tin is all I get. Not very sweet. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp with very understated, straw hops and more barely-there sugars. Not offensive but very bland.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottled at Delirium, Gothenburg. I have to say this beer left me wondering if the best before-date was some months or even years ago, but it was not. The beer sucks. Clear, pale golden with a nice white head. So far so good. The aroma is sour, acidic and with sewage-notes and grainy notes. The flavor is fortunately weak, but with sourness, sewage and some grain. Thin body. A bad beer, which I probably rated to high according to my own standards. (060823)
