Pours hazy golden with a high frothy head. Aroma banana, wheat. Slight sweet taste. Medium bodied.

It’s an unclear golden weissbier with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma has notes of banana, light banana peel, mild yeast and wheat – it’s quite aromatic. The flavour is bursting with banana notes, also a little peel, yeast and wheat, and the finish is slightly dry. It’s pure banana-juice – I’m in love!!!

Draught at the brewpub. Weak phenolic aroma like so many other German weizens. Cloudy dark orange colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is not phenolic, though. Has a bit of hoppiness to balance a slight sweetness. A well-balanced wheat beer.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, eggs, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of eggs, malt, and citrus, leading to a bitter finish.

Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Sweet and yeasty aroma with wheat and banana notes. Flavour had yeast, bananas and wheat notes. Finished dry and fruity.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy yellow with a dense white head leaving laces. Sweet aroma of banana and yeast. Medium body, lots of fruit, vitamin c and yeast, slightly phenollic. No bitterness. 010510

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is dry wheaty and estery. Dry wheaty and bubblegum flavoured. Flat wheaty and dry estery finish.

Cloudy yellow. Some head. Big aroma with lots of footy, stank yeast/pedio and banana. Rustic - has some good farmy notes with slight dusty yeast and a fair bit of banana. Good example - has just enough acidity late.

Bottle @ brewpub. Pale yellow and opaque with some lacing. Problematic aroma is funked out. Pedio, paint thinner, almost to the point of being uninviting. Flavors are similarly chemical poop, but the aromas remain dirtier and more offensive. Can’t finish.

Bottled (BB 02/2010, alc. 4.9%). Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! My first beer from this brewery. Hazy orange yellow color, good white creamy head. Banana dominates the aroma, some subdued bubblegum and citrusy tartness. Less banana in the flavor: citrus, wheat and then spices in the finish. Robust body for 4.9% beer.
