COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you tickle a cuttlefish just behind the eyes, it secretes a kind of goo which smells like American hops, belgian malts and tastes like a small cloud with angels on top. This is how we make SIPA.

Pale Ale, Aroma, Biscuit, Crystal 150. Dana, Cascade, Aurora.

Pours in a dark golden colour. Nicely bitter, very drinkable. Perfect for a rainy morning.

Scopey (11368) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2016
Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium, Aberdeen. It pours lightly hazy deep red with a thick beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, malt loaf, stewed orange, peach, caramel, wood and biscuit. The taste is smooth, bitter, woody, earth, citrus peel, waxy rind, biscuit, toasted oat, peach, tangerine and a touch of spice with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Much more malty than a classic IPA. Not bad.

JohnRMurdoch (4165) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - APR 13, 2016
500ml bottle from Good Spirits Co. Wine & Beer. Muddy amber brown, reasonable head. Oaty malt aroma. Toffee hop flavour. Bitter sweet hoppy aftertaste. A pale ale / bitter hybrid.

rodbod (142) - SCOTLAND - APR 10, 2016
Bottle from the Good Spirits Co Wine & Beer. Itís very dark for an IPA, more like a heavy in fact. Nose is not expressive, just a bit of malt. Palate is excellent: full on malt, yeast, salty hops, great texture. Finish ainít much. Overall, a decent brew.

nihtila (2566) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 8, 2016
Bottle from Cornelius. Pours clearish amber-brown. Nose is very malty, biscuit, caramel, citrus hops. Taste is sweet hoppy, but malts are still there as well, toffee, fruits, a bit of dried fruits, medium bitterness. Ok but still not the best balance.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 4/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 10/20
jamestulloch (3027) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 5, 2016
Bottle (6.1% ABV) from Cornelius. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts, roasted malts and nail varnish. Flavour of tangy fruit, dried leaves with a hint of plastic on the finish. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. I didnít enjoy this. My bottle was possibly infected as other reviews seem much more positive.

hitko (8) - SLOVENIA - APR 5, 2016 does not count
Pours cloudy, dark red / brown, with pretty small head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, fruits. Somewhat sweet at the beginning, finishes off with medium bitterness. Not an exceptionally good beer overall, although it somehow still manages to be refreshing and drinkable.
