2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Everything I don't like about double iPas is wrapped up in this one plus an off smell ( like old people's homes) ...there is an underlining citrus /lemon smell... But the flavors are muted and this beer is not a bright lively beer... An example of a bright lively double ipa would be STONES ENJOY BY ... But this based on this bottle is not worth a repeat:(

Bottle from Brewtopia. Copper with lasting head and lace. Piney resiny aroma with toasted malt and some orange. Toasted caramel malts orangey fruit sweetness with assertive orange and pine resin lingering bitterness. Medium body and fine carbo that accentuates the hops. Juicy and balanced West Coast DIPA. Very good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the 650 ml. bottle. It has a moderate amber pour with a cream colored head. The aroma tends to feel like resin, roasted malts, and earthy hops. Medium. DIPA’;s should be explosive with their hops - at least that is my opinion but this one is not. Yet it is a decent enough beer. More sweet with a hop bite to finish. This does that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel and pine aromas. Sweet caramel and bitter earth upfront turning to mango and resin in the lasting hot bitter caramel and resin finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Not finding a date on the bottle, but it just arrived today. Clear orange, slight red color. Thin off-white head. Leaves some ridges of lace, but it fades to just a minimal ring.. Kind of resiny, piney bigger hop aroma. Biscuity malt. Kind of peppery. Bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Light bit of warmth. Medium to bigger body. Kind of soft, light to moderate carbonation. Lightly slick. Solid DIPA. But something slightly off about it, maybe a touch metallic. Kind of on par with Firestone Walker beers made for Trader Joes.

On tap in 83 Degrees, Carlsbad on 27th May 2015. Golden Amber pour with a full head on my US pint. Malty feel to the nose and flavour with plenty of hop action in the background. Semi sweet throughout with a mild piny and citrus injection from the hops. My sweet tooth liked it.

22 ounce bottle. Malty sticky pine resin thing with some fruity esters. Ok, but expected a bit more for some reason. Too sticky and sweet.

With Zach, pours a rusty golden brown pour with a java head. Nose is deep pine and hard resin, with some background citrus. Taste is bitter with strong pine and resin, not busting with any real citrus.Finishes on the same bitter tasting notes, have had much better DIPAs, but drinkable at the very least. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Bomber. Pours a copper orange with a beige head and sweet, hoppy, piney aroma. Taste is bitter, malty caramel with hops, pine, resin, and grapefruit leading to a dry, bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber bottle from Champanes,
this beer had a clear dark orange-red pour and gave a large, fluffy faint off-white bubbled head that was lasting, the bubbles had a pale yellow/orange color to them, it left nice lacing and rings on the glass,
the nose had grapefruit, citrus and floral hop aromas with toasted malt, light bread, light grass and orange fruit, malt and bread sweetness,
the flavors were grass and light herb hops with a touch of pine, toasted malt, a little bread and malt sweetness,
the finish had a good hop bitterness that was drying but very faint on the tongue, there was very little hop bite that lingered,
the mouth feel was light medium on the palate, it was creamy and had average carbonation,
a nice IPA2 drink.
