4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
went to get my growler filled with Odell Myrcenary at Whole Foods and the ’tender gave me a taste of this and a taste of Myrcenary. I bought the 500 BC... really nicely balanced malt and stone fruit hops.
Reminds me of Firestone Walker Double Jack

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
660ml bottles, Whole Foods, Orlando. Tangerine & grapefruit battle with a hefty dollop of caramel in both the aroma and taste. The caramel wins out on both, but there’s a citrus tangy finish that gives it a bit of balance. Lovely amber-red colour with a big foaming head.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Cigarette City, Seabrook. Orange / Amber type color, thin lasting head in a chalice. Aroma has pine, tropical fruits and sweet caramel malt.
Flavor shows a ton of fruits, orange, tangerine with a caramel malt base. Solid amount of lingering pine finish. The body has a significant amount of caramel malt that gives it a slightly more sweetness then is warranted. I like the large pine hop profile that becomes dry. As it warms the bitterness gets harsh. The weighted average of this is about right. Good, not great.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From the 650 ml. bottle. It has a moderate amber pour with a cream colored head. The aroma tends to feel like resin, roasted malts, and earthy hops. Medium. DIPA’;s should be explosive with their hops - at least that is my opinion but this one is not. Yet it is a decent enough beer. More sweet with a hop bite to finish. This does that.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep gold into a snifter. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel and pine aromas. Sweet caramel and bitter earth upfront turning to mango and resin in the lasting hot bitter caramel and resin finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Not finding a date on the bottle, but it just arrived today. Clear orange, slight red color. Thin off-white head. Leaves some ridges of lace, but it fades to just a minimal ring.. Kind of resiny, piney bigger hop aroma. Biscuity malt. Kind of peppery. Bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Light bit of warmth. Medium to bigger body. Kind of soft, light to moderate carbonation. Lightly slick. Solid DIPA. But something slightly off about it, maybe a touch metallic. Kind of on par with Firestone Walker beers made for Trader Joes.
