Yeasty, hoppy, walnut nose. Clear brown color, no head. Dry and pleasantly bitter. Weak walnut finish. Not great, but decent regular brew for ABA lovers.

Poured reddish brown with a nice head, good retention and decent lacing. Grassy hops aromas dominate with some roasted malts. Strong hops bitterness up front on the tongue followed immediately by a solid malt background that lingered through the aftertaste. Caramel, honey and grapefruit flavors are also evident. Medium body and carbonation, and a pleasant aftertaste that featured the roasted malts and grapefruit. Given what I paid for this, it is one of the better beer values out there.

Found it at Von’s Pavillions in Monrovia, CA. Very crisp, refreshing, and perfectly hopped. A very underrated beer that could be mixed in with your regular session. Don’t be fooled by the word Red, it is more a west coast pale ale than an "amber ale" in everything but the color.

12oz bottle. Clear deep copper with a lasting head. Light citrusy hops and some toasty malt in the aroma. Good balance between citrus hops and toast caramel malt flavors. Med-light body with smooth carbonation. Pretty standard session amber, but with good balance.

22 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Deep amber pour with a sizeable foamy head. Roasted malt aroma with caramel notes. Fruity grain taste with bitter notes at the end. Medium bodied and slightly sticky.

Semi high foam that goes away fast to give a lace that stays. Reddish amber colour. Much american hop aroma with citrus and pines. A big hop taste but not that much bitterness.
