Rated at Hummel in Nov 2011. Head is mostly lasting. Body is dark amber-brown. Aroma is moderately malty (malt syrup, wort), with notes of rotten fruit, dirt, concrete. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter, husky, unclean. Medium to full body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Jaw-dropping. Embarrassing. Almost incomprehensible.

Grasig-hopfiger Abgang, mittelmalzig. Interessant! Danke an MoritzF! Test vom 28.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,11,11,11,13,11 - 10,90

Draught at the brauhaus
Beautiful dark amber color; creamy head. The aroma is a bit dusty, and perfumy. The caramel flavor of this beer is richer than many other Bocks, with some sweetness; nevertheless there is some dusty character that I don’t get; in the final there is even a trace of bad coffee, and candies; and light boozy character. Enjoyable because of the body, but somehow strange. Confused.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear reddish amber colour, off white head. Aroma of sweet rye, bread, caramel, sugar. Flavour onset is plastic, malts, rye, later on nice toasted and roasted malts, bitter light roasted and hoppy finish. Light to medium bodied. Not great.

Draught at Ølbaren.  Clear dark amber - offwhite head. Grassy. Caramel. Nutty. High malty. Light diacetyl (mostely in the aroma). Sweetness. Not that interesting.
