En fin rököl. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell. Syrlig och söt med toner av rök. Frisk och klar.

Ruby red color with small head. Aroma of smoke, wood, fire, caramel, malts. Taste is light sweet, smokey and interesting. Light to medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice , not to much smoke, good balance.

pours almost clear dark reddish, light nutty brown tones, with a small light beige cap, some retention and lacing. pleasant lightly smoked malts, sweet uncloying toasted and roasted malts, nuts and caramelized nuts, leafy green and grassy hops - relatively short herbal finish, creamy and almost lactose-like sweetness. nice balance. overall nice but something is slightly disturbingly off in the finish.

In short: A moderately smoky toasted lager. Very classy.
How: Bottle 500ml. Consumed soon after receiving it through private importation but probably not super-fresh.
The look: Clear redish-copper topped by a medium beige head quickly receding to a thin persistent layer of foam.
In long: Nose is moderately smoky (very much beach wood smoke fire) over some kind of fruity cereals. Body is very full but silky and not heavy, the carbonation is smooth. Taste has very expressive highly roasted straw-like cereals, dried cattail, refreshing fruitiness (berries, fruit salad), roasted wood, soft caramel, smooth smoke. Mild bitterness, smooth sweetness sensation. Dried tobacco and toffee in the after-taste. Nourishing. Easy to drink despite the style and 8.1%. However the nature of beer like this is such that one 500ml bottle is enough. Personally I find that this is another fine underrated german lager, but a beer rating is no place to pass judgement on other people, a basic etiquette that even the retards who gave this beer a low rating are probably able to understand.

(Rating #4535)

Pours dark brown with a slowly dissipating fluffy head. Good rauch aroma. Rich malty body that makes this a rich, very drinkable treat. Middling mouthfeel. Very clean and well executed, not very sweet.Bottle from Boutip.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium brown color bock with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of medium smoked notes with light caramel malt notes is pretty satisfying. Taste is a great mix between some smoked malt notes with some solid notes of caramel malt with light residual sugar notes. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well brewed and very sessionable if it wasn’t for the 8% ABV.

Dark copper amber with a thin beige head fading quickly. Light smike dominate the aromas with some fruity wood. Medium body, pretty light for a doppelbock, wich is interesting in this case. Light smokiness lingers on the ligh fruity/caramel palate. Finishes on a kight wood and smoke finale. Very easy to drink. Lovely rauch, all in finesse...

500ml from IPB.
Appearance : Clear dark amber with small foamy head.
Aroma : Big woody smoke with light caramel. Light meaty notes. Some ashes as well.
Taste : Big smoke with rich caramel malt. Caramel notes are not sweet but more roasted and overcooked. Light bitterness with more smoke and ashes on the finish. Persistent smoke on finish,
Overall : Very different doppelbock. Not a big surprise to see this styles as a Smoked. Very expressive with lot of character. Nice caramel that mixes well with the smoke because it’s not a sweet kind of caramel like often seen with a Scotch Ale for example. Great beer, well made, lot of character.
