I stopped here on my bicycle ride from Bamberg. It was the first open brewery I could find that day. Brown color. The aroma has good smoke but it is not very strong. There is grain and dry malt, and a nice smoke finish. Dry.

Bottle. Medium amber with a thin head. Aroma is burnt wood and bacon. Flavour is dry burnt bacon and wood. Finish is dry, a bit bland

Amber body with a small white head. Aroma of bacon, some wood. Taste is malty sweet with a pleasant smoked mouthfeel. Not heavy smoked like Schlenkerla, rather more on the Spezial side.

21/12/2012 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Ambrata, miele di castagno, limpidissima, schiuma bianca molto bella e abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori di malti, leggero affumicato, molto armoniosa, ma un po’ debole. In bocca regala sensazioni analoghe, caramello, zucchero di canna, leggero affumicato, delicata e ben bilanciata. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft, grande bevibilità. Leggerina ma elegante, si lascia bere e si ribeve con piacere.

Postupně sem budu doplňopvat piva, co jsem vypil a zapsal si, chvilku to asi bude trvat a proto k těm dříve vypitým pivům nebudou žádné "dojmy"

Bottle. Amber mahogny, clear. Some smoke, malts and a tad of cornish notes. Has wood, a bit of sweetish malts. Feels a bit sour even.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light smoke, bacon. Flavor is rather sweet with malt, grain, smoke, caramel, bacon, grass, but ends on a more dry bitter note. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good smoked, easy to drink. 090912.

Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is smokey, caramel and nutty. Taste was sweet with the smokey undertones imparting some bitters.

Die Schaumkrone hält mittelmäßig. Geschmacklich ist es schon Rauchig, angenehm. Zu der rauchigen Note kommt noch etwas Hopfen. Fazit: Ok.
