Cask, The Queen’s Head, Chelmsford.
Creamy white lacing; golden copper colour, perfume and yeasty nose, soft pinal aroma, grapefruit texture, very easy to drink, refreshing and citrusy. Descent but definitely not a hop bomb and rather bland. Bring me back some hops please. Ok??

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear golden with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with a leathery whiff of Bret. Light body with a hint of underlying sweetness but also acidic with a dry and bitter finish. Most likely infected, but somehow came out fine. 220808

Bottle, thx to fonefan. A slightly hazy orange-golden beer with a medium sized off-white head. There’s some brett in the aroma and flavor, can’t imagine that’s intended, but it gives it a nice twist. Well, maybe not very nice in this beer, but at least not offensive. The aroma has citrusy hops with some resin and a chalky touch. Citrusy, mildly bitter flavor, quite fruity, leading to a citrusy, sourish finish with just a little bitterness. Medium body. Strange one. (080822)
