Oct 20, 2005 Bottle Conditioned. Orange/brown with a small head. Aromas are nuts, green pine and pepper. Flavours are bitter, green pine with very bitter hops. Lacks the malt body of a premium bitter and so seems a bit unbalanced. Quite thin on the palate with a bitter finish. Unsophisticated but drinkable.

Apr 30, 2005 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A mid brown coloured beer with a grassy malty aroma. The taste is similar and the whole beer has a home brew touch to it. However I enjoyed it. A tasty beer.
