Cask Stillage at NWAF The Venue, Miles Platting 22/01/2010
Slight diacetyl aroma. Golden coloured floral and sweet on the palate with a hint of dryness and bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Pale amber with slight head. A little too laid back, itís just a slightly grainy, fruity, apricot but thin beer with a touch of fructose in the close. Bland and yes uninspiring.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled 24/08/12. A slightly hazy golden coloured beer with an off-white head. A fairly zesrt spritzy beer. There are definite pineapple notes. Interesting fruitiness. Nicely balanced. Pretty nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at The New Road Inn, Leicester. A golden beer with a white head. Aromas are sweet citrus with butter and spices. Flavours are sweet buttery malts, lemon and pear with peaty earthiness. Has a nice gently sparkle. Fruity and dry on the finish with a fairly long aftertaste. Reminded me of some of the Hop Back beers.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at FFTMC Autumn Beer Festival, Oxford 24-09-09 Pours light amber/warm gold with a white filmy head. The aroma is sadly lacking. Taste is tangy but with some metallic edges, touch of sweetness and a bit of dryness at end. Nothing wrong with this beer but the third rather uninspiring beer Iíve had this evening. 2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: APR 15, 2010 Bottle from Arden Wines. Witbier murk with a white film and zero fizz. Childhood flashback aroma of banana-flavoured antibiotics, opening up into orange peel, apple yeastiness, pine. Pondwater murk thick with bits: not entirely my fault. Earthy dull mouth glutted with yeast, uninteresting misty spruce, almond, shampoo gulps, compensating malted milk. Condition sloppy to dead. Some more lurking banana there. Not worth finishing.

Cask at paisley beer fest. Alround rating: grassy hay character, pale and richer malts, bitter. Another standard bitter.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pig farm aroma again, not sure whether i like that or not, but it seems to be a character in a few of these Humpty Dumpty beers. This was a fairly boring, malty bitter, dry, grainy mouthfeel, slightly nutty. A bit thin in body.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask sampled @ St. Arnolds Day Beer Festival 2013, The Old Wine Vaults, Faversham.
Practically clear, golden to amber body with a small, off-white head. Not much aroma at all, just a hint of malt and soap. Flavor is light, sweet malt without much bitterness or anything else. Medium body and short aftertaste. Quite boring and uninspired beer.

Bottle conditioned. The first of the Humpty Dumpty beers I actually could finish. No head, overconditioned which brought up chunks of yeast, aromas of hazelnut and soap. Flavours ofsweet malt and nutty toffee, which carries through to the aftertaste. Best of a bad bunch. Sorry.
