Aroma: medium cereal malts, medium floral hops, some citrus. Appearance: clear, light gold, large, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: good mixture of malty grains and floral/citrussy hops. Overall: very nice Golden Ale, excellent aroma and decent palate for the low ABV. Pint at GBBF 2015, Kensington Olympia.

At Great British Beer Festival 2015, Day 2. Clear pale golden beer with almost no head. Fruity bready aroma carmale, spicy notes, some oranges. Fruity spicy flavor, grass, hay, citrus, some oranges.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear pale gold beer, a few white bubbles. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Trace of sulphur. Dry pale malts. Mild orange and lemon citrus. Peel bitterness on the light finish.

From cask.,pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild citruy and crisp hoppy. Grassy, light citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter and medium dry finish.

Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Hazy pale gold with an off white foam. Grassy with lemon and pithy, mellow grapefruit. Clean grainy malts with woody, yeasty notes. Simple refreshing golden ale. Reminds me of similar beers from 10 years ago.

Cask at The Market Porter. Pours light gold with a creamy off-white head. Light floral aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is floral, light malt and perhaps a hint of citrus. Good ale. Finishes decently bitter.

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 6th September 2012. Pale gold with white head and some lace. Rich and intense fruity and hoppy aroma. Exquisite hoppiness and fruitiness in-mouth. Deliciously grassy and tangy end, very satisfying. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body; excellent for an ale of this strength.
