Ungstrup (14758), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 8, 2009 Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of yeast, medium notes of citrus fruits, and light notes of phenol. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of fruit, elderflowers, and lemongrass, leading to a lightly tart finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 20, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Distinct Brett aroma. Medium body, citrusy tart and stringent. Dry and bitter finish. Quite nice, but again I doubt that the Brett is intentional. 230808 fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Oct 1, 2008 Cask (handpump) @ Victoria, Earl Soham, England IP13. (010808) yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 30, 2008 Bottle, shared by fonefan. A clear golden beer with a minimal off-white ead. Slightly sour on the nose, but mostly citrusy and fruity. The sourness is present in the mouth too, but in a nice brett-ish way. Surely not intended. Fruity too, but not much maltyness going on. Dry, slightly astringent mouthfeel and a sourish finish. Nice in a way, but sure gone bad. (080823) faroeviking (6024), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Sep 10, 2008 Botella. Unclear golden with a nice white head. Fruity and yeasty bit sour. aroma.
